No Knockoffs Campaign
Want some? Come get some!
Getting it right the first time can be a difficult thing to achieve. Doing too much you risk completely destroying the essence of a car. However, with great risk comes the potential for great rewards and the folks at Bee*R were rewarded handsomely for their work. According to Imai-San, this particular ride is inspired by the movie Transformers and has just the right amount of flare. We couldn’t agree more! For us, it was love at first sight!
The dedication that went into building this beautiful Nissan 180SX/Skyline is just amazing! Nothing less than perfection would ever come out of Bee*R! Upon close inspection, one can see aspects from older Nissan performance cars such as the 280ZX, with a reverse opening hood. When the old-school meets the new-school, what you get is a technologically superior, yet classically cool kind of ride.
There was no reason to ask why Imai-san went with the 1JZ. Its reputation carries weight like that of a Spartan soldier. This warrior of an automobile is fully equipped. It’s stout, devoted, and there for one reason – to crush the competition with relentless tenacity. It just sits there on its Bee-R B5s lying in wait, like a predator ready to pounce. It’s too bad these beautiful, rims are discontinued. We used them on our last project car in America so they are truly some of our favorites! One can only hope for their return.
